Welcome to Center for Medical Genetics Ltd České Budějovice
Center for Medical Genetics Ltd (CMG) was founded in 1997 with a registered office in České Budějovice, Czech Republic. It is a private medical facility consisting of an outpatient clinic, a cytogenetic laboratory and a molecular cytogenetic laboratory. The majority of work is focused on prenatal genetic diagnosis. There are 3 modern, state-of-the-art ultrasound scanners available for fetal screening. The Center’s team of medical professionals performs amniotic fluid testing (amniocentesis) and chorionic villus sampling (CVS). It is possible for a patient’s partner to be present during an amniocentesis procedure and during ultrasound scanning. CMG also provides genetic testing to couples with a history of repeated miscarriages and infertility, or to patients with hereditary forms of malignant tumors. The Center for Medical Genetics is a holder of an accreditation granted by the Czech Accreditation Institute. Doctors of CMG are holders of a number of Czech and international certificates for qualified performance of ultrasound screening.
