Our work primarily focuses on prenatal genetic diagnostics. In order to provide the highest quality ultrasound examination of fetuses, our facility houses five of the most modern state-of-the-art ultrasound devices available.

Our facility performs noninvasive as well as invasive prenatal testing including amniotic fluid testing (amniocentesis) and chorionic villus sampling (CVS). The patient’s partner or another close person may be present during an amniocentesis or ultrasound screening. The Center also provides genetic testing for couples with a history of repeated miscarriages and infertility, or to patients with hereditary forms of malignant tumors. The Center for Medical Genetics is accredited by the Czech Accreditation Institute. The Center’s doctors hold a number of Czech and international certificates for the qualified performance of ultrasound examinations.
